| Titel: | Women of Cuba  |
| Auteur: | Inger Holt-Seeland,   |
| Samenvatting: | In simple, direct terms the author describes how the profound changes that have taken place in Cuba since the revolution are affecting the lives of the women of Cuba. This is done largely in a series of interviews suplemented with fotographs. The author has chosen as her subjects a farm worker, a student Communist Youth member, a high-born housewife who ended up by supporting the Revolution, an older black woman whose memories go back to the beginning of the century, a factory worker and others. The result is a composite portrait of what life is like for Cuban women and how it is changing from day today.   |
