Titel:Paece and war
Auteur:
Samenvatting: The stimulating anthology of thirty essays result from the Colgate University peace studies program. Created in 1970, this program has involved interdisciplinary work of varied nature on the problems of bringing about word peace. The readings in this volume have been selected to illuminate those problems. Many are by current and former prominent policy makers and leaders (including Henry A Kissinger, Robert S. McNamara, Che Guevara, and John Kenneth Galbraith) . Introductions are by Colgate University students and faculty who have participated in the peace studies program. There are countless texts used in international relations courses, but there are no others with the focus of this collection. That special focus on war and its prevention makes this a refreshing volume of supplementary reading for all appropriate courses and programs.
