Titel: | The Dead Nuke book  |
Auteur: | Tony Thomson  |
Samenvatting: | The Oxford Research Group is an independent research group funded by major British charitable trusts. Since its establishment in 1982 it has researched defence decision-making in the nuclear nations and published two books: 'How Nuclear Weapons Decisions Are Made', (Macmillan 1986) and 'Nuclear Weapons: Who's In Charge?', (Macmillan 1987) which, with a lot of words and not many jokes, explain how nuclear weapons are created. This book attempts to redress the balance.
Tony Thomson has been a researcher with the Oxford Research Group since its inception. He trained at the City and Guilds of London Art School, and has done the flowcharts, diagrams and cartoons which have illustrated all ORG publications. He was firmly encouraged to proceed with this book of cartoons by Anne Piper, and wants to thank everyone at ORG for their support.   |
